Current Report: OFFSHORE
We are officially out of the summer doldrums, not that the fishing was slow this summer but when the blue water starts the to come alive this time of year it makes for some great fishing.
Live bait once again being the key, you just can not go wrong with a well full of pilchards, blackfin tuna and skip jack tuna along with a few Wahoo's are the targets.
The reef has been good with some big yellowtail snappers and some nice cero mackerels starting to move in.
FLATS
Bone fishing right now is awesome, big fish and they are actually eating fly's.
Permit to the west especially on the incoming time on the south side.
Good luck out there.

Awesome is the only way to describe the fishing right now.
If the weather is nice there are lots of choices
Dolphin on the Atlantic side, spawning permit on the reefs along with snapper grouper.
The deep wrecks are holding huge amberjacks and some nice mutton snappers.
Tarpon in the harbor have been biting on the incoming tide in the morning.
Yesterday I was 56miles in the gulf of Mexico hand feeding blackfin tunas it just doesn't get any better than that. The shallow wrecks to the west of the marquesas are all holding permit but they are a little tough to catch after the last couple of tournaments we had.
FLATS
Tarpon are the main target in and around the flats, but they really like nice south breezes.
Permit fishing is tough this time of year because most of them go offshore to spawning.
They will be back in about a month.
Good luck and have fun.
Thanks for stopping bye

Current Report: OFFSHORE
The fishing offshore around the reefs a wreck has been great.
Tuna, Bonita, kingfish, snapper grouper cobia ect.
Live bait as always is the key, it also helps if you fish with an owner operated charter boat.
Tarpon are in the harbor as long as it stays warm they will be there. Chumming with shrimp boat bye catch is the best way to put up some high numbers.
FLATS
Finally some consistently warm whether has brought the fish back in numbers.
Tarpon, permit and bonefish are being reported along with some hungry barracudas.
It's a great time of year to fish in Key West; I am busy fish most every day so my fishing reports will be few and far between. Please fell free to call for any info you need.
Thanks for stopping bye.
