Current Report: OFFSHORE
Fishing offshore has been slow, with the usually reliable snapper grouper bite not quite coming together. Big amber jacks and a few mutton snapper on the deep wrecks have been a good back up plan. The trolling boats are doing ok with some small dolphin and lots of Bonita’s.
FLATS
Bonefish are quite a good bet right now, just stay away from the mid day heat.
Even a few permit hanging on the deep edges of the flats on the out going tide.
Sharks fishing, lemons and black tips are all over the north side flats.

Current Report: OFFSHORE
Great action, sailfish tuna and a few Wahoo any were from 120ft to 240ft have been the main target species. The reef has also been alive with yellowtail snapper and some big kings. Live bait once again is the key to success.
FLATS
Tough fishing lately although some nice catches of sea trout in the mullet mud's in Jew fish basin. With the cold front we are experiencing lately it will be tough for a couple of days.
Looking forward to some 70-degree water.

Current Report: OFFSHORE
Great reef action right now with large yellowtail snapper being the main target.
Black Finn Tuna are biting in and around the deep wrecks with a few sailfish mixed in on the Atlantic side.
Throwing the cast on pilchard has been the key to success.
Cobia are around the towers 40 miles into the gulf, predominant north winds make it difficult to get out their but it very productive when you can.
FLATS
Permit fishing on the flats to the west has been very consistent and should remain so until the water temp drops.
Thanks for stopping by.

Current Report: OFFSHORE
Every day seems to be different, some great early sailfish action has probly been the most consistent thing going on.
The blackfin tuna action is good one day then nothing the next. Kingfish I think will make a late push in the gulf this year because of the cold weather we have had.
Snapper grouper to the west 40 + miles away has and will be great for the next couple of months.
We had an early push of tarpon, they are gone now but should be back bye mid week with the warm weather.
The offshore fishing is definitely good as long as your flexible to what you want to catch.
We are on the edge of everything breaking loose, tuna and cobia behind the shrimp boats, permit spawning on the wrecks and reefs, yellow tail snapper will also be spawning soon.
FLATS
The flats fishing has definitely improved although the water temp is still pretty low with permit and bonefish barley braving it. On the few days we have had warm south winds fishing has been world class with a definite shot at a slam.
Thanks for stopping bye>
